Yesterday was travel day. So, as usual, we removed the window screens the night before and I lowered the inside electric MCD shade. When we went to leave yesterday morning, the shade would only go up about a foot and then abruptly stop. Never done that before. I had to manually roll it up so we could leave. Now, it will only go down about half way, but will go all the way up. I probably messed it up by manually rolling it, but had no choice. No idea what the problem was to begin with though. Then, as we were driving, noticed the dash air conditioner blowing outside temp air. Not cooling at all. Compressor seems to be working and all fuses seem good (thanks Dennis!) so not sure the issue. Coach is only 1.5 years old.
However, while we were driving down the road we received an urgent text from a friend. Her and her husband were stranded on the freeway, in their RV, and no tow truck open on Sunday morning. They are safe and RV being repaired. Thankful for that and glad ours was not mechanical. Life goes on!
