- Mr__CamperExplorerThere are a couple of state parks if that's what you want. RV Parks will be expensive. We like Novato RV Park and there is also San Francisco North KOA in Novato. Make reservations soon.
- RollnhomeExplorerOakley and SF is a large area. Can you zoom in a bit closer to exactly where you are working or want to stay.
- Mandalay_ParrExplorerTry Petaluma just north of SF.
BTW, what do you consider affordable?
I've been in some from 190 to 775 per month. - SCVJeffExplorerI wasn't aware that San Francisco and "affordable" ever fit in the same sentence
- JanssExplorer IIx2 Jeff!
We stayed at Antioch Fairgrounds last year. An ok place, but the hookups leave something to be desired. Some of them are less than sufficient, sort of broken down. You really have to examine the hookups at the site you want. Or may want to pick a different site. Don't know if you can stay 2 months there.
Our second choice was going to be Sugar Barge at Bethel Island. It gets good reviews. - romoreExplorer II

The only one we found at Petaluma was the KOA at 67 bucks a night, double what had paid elsewhere. - BarbaraOKExplorer

I agree, I almost snorted my coffee as I read that. :B
Seriously where is it that you want to be near? How far a drive do you consider acceptable? Figure a minimum of $50/night for parks if you are lucky. - Mandalay_ParrExplorer
