Smallest RV anyone has full timed in?

I am curious as to how small an RV anyone has full timed in. How many people lived in it, how did you handle it.

I have a 28' TT, I am by myself, no pets. I have owned the TT since April and have used it for weekend getaways.
I want to retire, but am one of those that would have to work part time in order to survive. I have found a part time job, have applied for social security and will get my first check in February 2021. I start the part time job right after Christmas. I have been going through everything, getting rid of all the stuff I don't need, don't use, won't fit in the TT.

For some reason I am just a little apprehensive about everything. It's a major life change but have to do this also for some health reasons. I need to have a job that is far less stressful. My current job has caused me to have high blood pressure and increased heart rate. Need to slow down and relax.

We full timed in a 26 foot no slide trailer.
The only thing that was a problem was having a really comfortable seating arrangement. The gaucho sofa and an armed dining chair did not cut it.

Even as a full timer I never encountered even a full day of being "trapped indoors". I had appropriate clothing to handle rain and other poor conditions.

With a small RV, I avoid staying in areas where the weather is consistently bad. Almost anywhere in the US, a day's drive or less will take you to a different area with a completely different climate.

I have a 20' Class B, Xplorer 230XL. While I don't fulltime, I do live in it for 2 months at a time when I snow bird in FL. I am flying solo and it works for me.

I have encountered some "full time" RVers sleeping in their cars. Finances are usually to blame.

My wife and I and two cats full timed in a medium sized truck camper without slides. We had the basic comforts and then some: full queen sized bed, refrigerator, 3 burner stove, toilet with wet bath, dinette, hot water/furnace, AC, and even a microwave. We had plenty of storage including an overhead 2x2x6 foot cabinet and the back of our crew cab. Going small is all about mobility and traveling. We drove 30,000 miles the first year and visited countless National Parks, State and Provincial Parks and other attractions. Others think of full time living more along the lines of going to a warm location and spending the winter in an RV park.

IDman: My daughter was staying in a campground in Naples, FL about a year ago. There was a couple that had a Casita that they were full timing in and said they loved it. Wonder if it was the same couple. I don't remember where she said they are originally from.

Only you can decide how much space you’ll be comfortable with. Envision a week of bad weather where you will be trapped indoors. Is the space in your TT something you’d be happy in until you recover your outdoor “living room”? Is the layout conducive to accommodating both your work and hobbies? The good thing about a little smaller rig is that you’ll be able to stay in most state and national parks if you choose. Best of Luck in the future and Merry Christmas!
