Snow Birding Around Clearwater FL After New Years

I am thinking of heading to Clearwater after New Years to spend 2-3 months. Will I have a problem finding somewhere decent to tie down without reservations? I have a health issue that precludes me fro...

Most likely you will have trouble. Clearwater is near the Gulf and it is just above I-4. The rule of thumb is : south of I-4 and near the coast will drive prices (and difficultly finding a place) up. Also the further south the more expensive.

Maybe north of Clearwater at Crystal River and north you might be successful but I can't really say for sure.
