Why did you start full-timing?

Hey, everyone!

Kayla and I are writing a blog post interviewing full-timers to find out why they hit the road and why living in an RV is better than living in a house.

If you're interesting in contributing, we made a Google form you can fill out here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScwReCCdJkSqt_nPNozCrpoC4PGokqTnER9OOUvHcC-yPmbgg/viewform?usp=sf_link

Can't wait to hear everyone's stories! :)

Cheers,
Bill

Bought a used class c to stay in for three months.
It was to hard to go back home after three months.
Four years have gone by already. You get good at it after awhile but there's been some tough times.
  • We'd been talking about it for a few years. In 2015, my wife was rated 100% disabled with PTSD and numerous nueorlogical issues, all thanks to our time in the Air Force. We were in Savannah, Ga and I was unable to work due to her issues, so we decided he time was ripe. We're looking for a place to feather our nests when she (or I) can't do this any more.
  • Knew we would NOT stay in California after retirement.

Life.....it is too short to NOT go and do whatever it is that interests you.

Traveling the back roads of USA was our 'it'

  • To travel and regularly see kids and grandkids spread 1000 miles apart.
Love RV travel, the outdoors & National Parks. Our best choice, we are happy.
  • We knew we would not stay in California after retirement. We had no idea where we would end up other than it would NEVER be desert again.

We sold everything and became SD residents. Nine years later we settled in the mountains of Idaho. We love everything about living here.
