Anyone tried double towing in BC Canada?

its illegal and you will be made to unhook and tow one back to Alberta separately then come back for the other. no leniency on this one here. I looked into it because my dad always towed his fishing boat behind his 5th and wanted to bring it out so we could go fishing.
they enforce it, I just don't think anyone is stupid enough to try it ;)
the amount of times I have driven from Kamloops to Edmonton going both the jasper and the Banff way in the last 35 years, I have never once seen a double tow in BC
