"The USMCA will enter into force on July 1, 2020"
I think after USMCA begins the borders will be open, per the USMCA. We will see.. - LwiddisExplorer IIIf Canada wishes to continue the border closing to protect their citizens I say yes, it is your right to do so...your duty.

Good idea, some Americans dont even believe Cvirus is dangerous and dont bother wearin protective face mask,
When in fact one can have it without showin any symptoms for two weeks while spreadin it infecting other people.
Better be safe then sorry - MonarambleeExplorerStill open for commercial traffic.

While its good to wear a mask nowadays, its only a requirement when social distance cannot be maintained. But i agree its better to be safe then sorry. - rexlionExplorerHopefully the Canadian geese aren't carriers, because they don't observe border closures and they're flying back home now! ;)

And what good will that do for either side? FACT 81% of Canadian deaths from Covid were Nursing Facility Residents. - dodge_guyExplorer IIIt’s nice to know the virus respects the border and will not cross!
- BCSnobExplorerFact: Canada and USA are running the same number of tests per Capita; Canada has a lower positive test rate per Capita than the USA. Why would Canada want to allow a more infected herd to cross their border to seed more hotspots within their herd?

Just curious... you know that wearing non surgical masks to prevent the spread of a virus is about as effective as chain link fence prevent the spread of mosquitos, right? In fact, studies have shown that masks that are saturated from breathing are actually MORE likely to harbor the virus because of the humid warm environment on the mask? Don't forget that most people that have N95 masks aren't wearing them correctly, thus making them far less effective. Lets not even get into the fact that people are constantly touching the mask and their faces, thus increasing the opportunity for virus to spread.
The overwhelming majority of people that are wearing masks have a very false sense of confidence in the ability of the mask to protect them, and are actually more likely to contract or spread the virus. The CDC states that an exposure is an extended period of time (5-10 minutes) in close contact with a known carrier. Someone coughing and your mask holding that virus is much more likely to spread the disease to you, than me not being near people and not congregating for an extended period of time.
But hey, whatever makes you feel better, right?
