I don't know if this is the right group for this but I'll try it. We want to leave our Canadian registered RV in Florida - use during snowbird months, in storage for the summer. My permanent home is in Canada. Never on the road except to move from storage to our site. Was wondering if this receiver will work in the USA this fall. When I read the instructions how to activate this new receiver there's a LNB check whatever that means and a check if you are locked on etc, then activate. Maybe this is part of making sure you are locked onto the satellite. But, someone said this past spring with this new receiver, they can tell where you are? If that's the case, we're all toast because you have to use this new receiver. Anyway, just wondered if anyone now has activated this new receiver in the USA to see if it works and did they have any trouble activating down there. I am in the process of starting a trailer park in a town called “El Sargento” in Baja California Sur, Mexico (40 minutes from La Paz) and I would like to ask for your help. I am researching the needs that 5th wheels, motorhomes, trailers, RVs and any type of mobile home require to make comfortable and safe stays.  In other words, I would like to know what you are looking for in a trailer park? What are your requirements for extended stays? My idea is to make a trailer park in which each trailer can have a space of 140 m2 (10x14m), with a wooden roof to protect it and that at the same time functions as a high terrace, access to drinking water, electricity, drainage, rainwater collection system, garbage management and collection, etc. The place is located 1.8 miles from the beach, it has a view of the Gulf of California and Cerralvo Island (Sea of ​​Cortes) and the Sierra de las Cacachilas in the back (spectacular sunrises and sunsets). This fall we will be making a 2 to 3 months trip from Tennessee to the Canadian Rockies and back. This is during the football season. I am thinking about signing up for Hulu or some other streaming service to be able to get the football games on TV.
