Dodged a bullet there. Must be time for another attitude thread.

Seems reasonable to show the newcomer where he can go to get the answers to a lot of his questions. Perhaps the responder may have been a bit short, but he'll get a lot more info on that forum than in the "Fifth-Wheel" forum.sch911 wrote:
Are you kidding? Of course they have. There is even a whole forum devoted to it.
Don't think he's kidding, Salty Senior Member - he's a "newbie" with 3 posts!..:S
Chill out and give the guy a break!..:R

At least he didn't just come back with "Do a Search". :) - KATOOMExplorerOne of these days I'll try pulling my 5th wheel into Mexico. We cant seem to get to any of the more local camp spots as often as we'd like so getting down to the land of red/green/white anytime soon seems impossible.

Has anyone traveled and camped in Mexico lately? I'm wondering about safety.
Google:
"State Department Travel in Mexico 2014"
Research the difference between a Travel Alert and a Travel Warning.
Note - (in the warning) they acknowledge the thousands of persons crossing into Mexico daily.
Over the years in So. CA, being close to the border - and having lots of time to enjoy Baja for fishing, surfing, off-roading, and fun - many of my cohorts had places in Mexico and others were *very* regular visitors.
Some had some pretty serious dollars invested in same.
Most have said "Adios" and sold their holdings.
The "regular" visitors no longer visit - just not the same anymore.
You might also check the Escapees forums for opinions.
As always, YMMV.
~ - 2oldmanExplorer IIHaven't seen the Mexico forum?
- fj12ryderExplorer IIII would imagine it's a lot like traveling in the states: some places are okay and some are not. The problem is finding out which place is which. :)
More detail about which part of Mexico you're talking about could help narrow it down. It's a pretty big country.
