1977 Argosy Motorhome

Thanks for all of the compliments. We did try to keep the 70's theme going with the orange upholstery, the brown medium shag carpet, and the flower print on the panels.

The were not planning on the Beetle but we wanted a lightweight dinghy and my wife and I both had a history with the vintage Beetles. It did not hurt that the tow bar was only $110!

Here is a link to pictures of the original interior and how the dinette converts. The original interior was an burnt orange/copper color that we could not match anywhere.

Yes, the 454 has lots of power. It towed the Beetle like it wasn't even back there. We have no trouble going up hills! It's kinda fun going uphill and passing $500,000 diesel pushers in my 1977 motorhome. :C

Man that thing is awesome, with the 454 I bet you can scoot on down the road even with the bug behind ya

I enjoy the older RV's and am always looking for something different in the RV park. You are preserving the history of the Motor Homes in general!
