I'd like to know if exhaust ports on this carberated 460 has rectangle or oval ports.
I saw a response posted by Hooligan 4/2013 that he had the same chassis, don't know if he's still on forum, hopefully he remembers.
Thanks Bob C.

The carbureted cylinder heads are slightly rectangle where the EFI heads have a rounder port.
First Ford F53 was built in 1988 with EFI 460. Which was the first year of EFI on the 460.
But Oshkosh chassis continued to purchase carbureted 460 from Ford up to and including 1990. So if you have a 1989 or 1990 carbureted 460, class A MH, it has an Oshkosh chassis.

Would still be EFI.

There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.

The 460 went to EFI in 1986. 1990 should have throttle body injection (looks like a carb) unless someone did something silly to it or it's not the orig eng.

That's what my research found to, but they used carbs, I think, on m/h until about 1990 or 1991.
Mine's definitely 1990.

Odd that a 1990 does not have EFI, I think ford switched to all EFI by 1988
I am thinking if it is an original carbureted engine it should be oval port.
