1999 Holiday Rambler Endeavor Dash A/C Blower INOP

Hi everyone. I just got back from a 3,000 mile road trip in my 99 HR endeavor DP. Everything went well, but the dash a/c blower motor quit working on me. I spent 2 hours with a test light trying to figure out why it wouldn't work.

I had power to the blower motor, but it would not work. I figured maybe I had a bad ground, so I ran a separate ground wire and it now works again. But, it is stuck on high only. Move the fan controls up or down and it just stays on full blast.

It will turn off, but the blower speeds do not work. It's either on full blast or off. Anyone here have any ideas what part has failed here?

    most likely under the front hatch
    attached someplace to the A/C -heater box
    if not there its under the dash between the fan speed switch and the blower

    So is the problem a blown fuse, or a blower resistor block? Where exactly would this part be on my coach?

    Dead ON........Been there done that. Easy fix.

    The speeds are set by a blower resistor block. It's mounted on the HVAC plenum somewhere. It contains dropping resistors for each speed, and a thermal fuse that blows. Classic symptom is no speeds except high. Most NAPA stores should have the replacement.

    Check the fan speed switch, They have a rheostat wired into them and that is where you speed comes in.
