Our 1999 National Tropical is leaning two inches to the right. Anyone else have this issue? How did you correct it?

On my 2001 Tropical, National had a spring shop add a leaf to the right rear. It pushed the left front down and leveled the coach. The spring shop KNEW of the problem as they fixed a bunch of them.

X3 on dougrainer and busskipper reply.

I have the same chassis as you on my 2000 HR 38ft Endeavor. I had a little lean to one side and also had some swaying issues as well. I had the rear springs reworked and it fixed both problems.

This the second older class A I have owned that needed spring work. Amazing difference in handling when they are set up right. Spent about 700.00 each on each motorhome for the work.

Worth a look......

Just a guess Ford F53 with leaf springs -- If you are already a Democrat you might look at the front Right spring, Could be broken - bent - or just overloaded. Need to take it to a good truck/spring shop to have him re-tune both maybe even beef them up.

That would be my guess.

1999 Tropical is either a Chevy(Workhorse) or a Ford. Either way, to level, you either re-arc the rear springs or add a spring. Doug
