Hi ALL

I am looking at this model motor home. I like the idea of a smaller RV. The price is OK. It is on the Ford V-10 20k chassis. Is this capable of towing a small SUV or Jeep either 4 down or on a dolly. Also it has 54k miles on it. How long can it go without major issues. I kind of think most vehicles are good for about 100k+ if maintained.

Thanks as always

My 2005 28da actually measures 30ft. long, but it does have a short rear overhang, so is very stable for towing. (It is on the same wheelbase as the 30 & 31 ft. models)

Check the actual weight of the MH, my guess is that the weight is somewhere about 15,000 lbs or less and it would be on a 20k lb chassis. You should have no problem with a tow car. If you can find a 2006 or newer model you will pickup another 55hp and itwould be a real performer at that weight.

This is a link to a 2005. Should be close.

Says hitch is rated at 5,000. Being on a short chassis I think you will have no problem finding a toad.

The 2004 28 was our first choice after shopping for two years. Went to the dealer to deposit and drove the 30DA. The rest is history.
