- Homer1ExplorerMy bad I meant to type CID not HP.
- JAXFLExplorerOK not sure what you have. We have a 2008 Ford E450 V10 at 32' and I pull a small 4x4 Colorado same year. On any given day I average 7.8 - 8 miles per gallon. So I figure about $0.45 cents a mile. That is with the dash AC on and not running the generator while driving. Also my hitch is 5000#.

460 cubic inches, I don't think it produced 460 hp. - stargirl96ExplorerIt's an E-450 V-10. The motorhome is 31 feet long and has a hitch weight of 3,500 lbs. We have not purchased it but are in the looking stage. Our CR-V is close to the 3500-lb. hitch weight, so we are also curious how this will affect mileage if we used it as a toad.
- Homer1ExplorerAre you sure it is a 450 HP? Ford made a 460 hp but most of the 2000 and newer had the V-10 in it. I could get 9.0 to 9.5 at reasonable speeds below 65 mph on mine. The previous 460's generally got in the 7.0 to 8.5 mpg
