2013 Sportscoach

A friend of mine just bought a 2013 Sportscoach. Two concerns. One is that the leveling system does not deflate the airbags prior to the jacks coming down. Am I right in saying that it should?
Also, when they turn on the hot and cold water valves on the shower or sink, they get hot, then cold, then hot, then cold, etc. What would make that happen? Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Some do and some don't, What does the manual say.

If it has outside shower, check to see if it has been left on and the shower head is turn off.
