2014 Bounder Motor home

Our cousin has a Bounder motor home. It is new and when you hook the water hose to the city water connection the water just dribbles out of the faucets. Lazy days told them it was designed to use the water tank for water supply and use the water pump. I told them in my 50 years I never heard of any thing so lame. I think they have a kinked hose where it comes into the motor home and lazy days were too lazy to find the kink hoping the warranty would run out before they got tired of dealing with it.....Are other owners of Bounders aware of this design flaw??
  • Yep call Fleetwood get a reps name and than take it back to Lazy Days and tell them you spoke with such and such about the water issues and they said to fix it under warranty, that usually gets them off their a$$
  • your first call is to Fleetwood with your vin

I had the same problem..with the location of the drains..nobody knew

so eliminate the mystery and call Fleetwood..good people
  • We have a 2014 bounder. We have no problem with the water. Have him make sure that he has it on city water setting.

My first guess would be to check the water filter, unless the problem doesn't happen when he uses the pump.

Also, it is possible that it is dribbling out because it is filling the HW tank (10 gallons). Once it is full, the pressure should return. And, open all the faucets to make sure all the air is out of the system.

When we first bought ours, these were the problems we ran into.
  • My Winnebago had two kinked lines, one for the rear bathroom and another for the sani-flush system. It's not the design, it's unskilled installers too lazy to measure the proper length of pek tubing. Frustrating for everybody.
  • Lazy Days lives up to its name "Lazy" especially the service techs. They would rather not fix anything they can avoid.

I had a problem wiwth my shower Door and I had Tiffin ship a new shower door assembly to Lazy Days under warranty for them to install. Instead they said they "fixed" the old door and saved themselves 2 hours of warranty work. It worked fine until I was 100 miles down the road after having spent 2 weeks waiting for them to get their act together.

I am at the Tiffin factory and they installed the required new shower door and it is working fine a week later.
  • I don't havexa Bounder either but thrre are 4 positions. Normal for using pump, tank for filling tank, city for hose hookup, winterize for putting in the yucky stuff. Unless I am filling the tank I leave it on city. Both the hose hookup and pump work. Check the position of the valve.
  • Don't have a Bounder, but, I do have a Hurricane and at the water panel I have to select "city water fixtures". If I leave it in "nomal" position, I get only a drip.
  • I agree that it sounds like a load of bull. I assume that when on the pump water flows properly? If so should be easy to trace. Could either be a kink or debris in the line between the city water inlet and the pump.
