2015 fleetwood storm

Just purchased a 2015 fleetwood storm.. We love the coach. One question though. Has any body experienced blocking problems with the toilet? We are staying in a place with lower than normal water pressure . Hopefully not enough pressure to get good flow for flush. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Still thinking of a new name as winnebago view no longer applies. Thanks
  • Water pressure in most RVs has little to do with flushing the toilet. RV toilets fill partially with water at the end of each flush. It is up to the user to add "extra" water if needed for flushing.
  • Most RV toilets you pull up on the handle to add more water, this is a must to give good flow on the dump. I us the black water flush after every dump then add about 5 gallons of water to start.

  • Supplement the external water with you onboard pump. That will usually help in those circumstances....just make sure you have water in the tank.
  • Taking a shower is going to be more of a problem. Before use add extra water to the bowl to keep everything floating and not sticking to the bowl.

Since the coach is new check with your camping neighbor to ensure the low pressure isn't a new coach problem. How is the water pressure when running off the tank?

I'm not sure exactly what this means. Can you elaborate?
  • I doubt they would do it again, but we had a 2004 Fleetwood Terra 32' that constantly plugged up. On that model, they had no room for the tank directly under the toilet. They made a tank that had an upper section that went over the frame. When you flushed, it would drop down into a 6" tall section that had an angle to it. The waste was SUPPOSE to slide down into the larger section of the tank. It was a nightmare.

We complained to Fleetwood, but they told us they never heard of the issue. We sold the coach and THEN got a recall notice for the tank. You can tell by looking under the coach at the tank design/configuration.
