Mercedes has come out with a gas Sprinter. Are any of the RV manufacturers using it yet?
Nope. Mercedes-Benz don't have the gas engine available on the cab and chassis Sprinter models; it's only on the lower-spec van bodies. It's also a pretty small engine for the vehicle, a 2.0L four cylinder gas engine, producing 188 horsepower at 5000 rpm. In a motorhome it would be a whiney slug.

Thanks everyone! Went up and looked at the unit today. It's super nice! Way nicer than our 2017 View we had. Lots of bells and whistles on that new 2020 chassis. Still deciding if this is "THE ONE" or a travel trailer we are looking at. Obviously a big difference in price. Also looked at the Minnie Winnie 25 footer with the Ford chassis w/the Triton engine. Time to think thru.

I,ve never had trouble finding diesel.
Not finding diesel fuel in general. Finding the right type.
What do you mean "right type". ULSD is about all that is sold in North America - exc off road in Mexico.

Hey folks! It's been a while since I have posted. Sold by 2017 Winnebago View and tried the Class B craze for a while with a Coachmen Crossfit (no called BEYOND) and it was a great unit, but my wife and I need something bigger so we are looking at the Winnebago View again. I put about 25K miles on our last VIEW and it was flawless, but I was always scared about the sensors going out, DPF problems, finding the right diesel, etc. You know all the horror stories on these forums. While I never had one issue this was always in the back of my mind. Have they made any changes to these 2020's where these issues have been fixed or still same old things to worry about? We really love the really like the 24J floorplan. Last time we had the 24V. Hope everyone is doing great and looking forward to your thoughts on this. Thanks!
