50 amp surge protectors

I have had the EMC-PT50C in service ever since I started full timing in 2010. After the first time the campground I was in had some major electrical issues and campers around me had burned up "stuff" and I was 100% OK, I got a bit paranoid about electrical issues. So what did I do? I bought a second PT50C as a spare. When the primary one fails I never have to plug in without one while I'm sending the failed one back for service. In the past 8+ years I have had many saves (two on my home base site) and actually had 2 of the PT50C's destroyed beyond repair and they were both replaced by PT50X's one of which I am using right now and I still have a brand new one still in the box in reserve.

I will absolutely never plug in anywhere without my PT50X inline.
