Accelerator pedal issue 1995 Rockwood 6.5 liter GM V8

I have just bought a 1995 Rockwood Regent and having an issue with the accelerator being very hard to push down. Needing help to determine if it's the 30-40 foot cable or linkage or fuel pump. Someone...

We need to know what engine you have to be able to comment.

There is no such thing as Cummins 6.5. They do have the 5.9 in line 6.

GM did have a 6.5 liter V8.

Detroit Diesel had an 8.2 liter V8
