Airstream motorhome
Hello All,
Still on the prowl for our motorhome. I have found a 1999 Airstream Cutter with the 300 HP cat on a freightliner chassis with 1 slide. The price is well within my range, at 29K it has 57K miles on it. It is about a 4 hour drive away, so I kinda want to know if it is worth the trip? The units I looked at on you tube looked good, I mean layout, features etc. still waiting for more photos of this one from the owner.
Any Airstream Cutter owners out there? I got a pretty good education trying to purchase a winnebago Journey DL recently, and am a little leary of dealers after that fiasco. I do have the lowdown on tires, leakage, and can't get enough of looking at maintenance receipts...(a major shortfall on the Journey). does the Cutter have an aluminum body, or fiberglass? Rubber roof? I did notice the sewer hook up sticks down below the storage doors on the side of the unit, any problems with that? Any thoughts on the overall build quality of the coach?
Thanks
Rich C
