Aladdin System question

Hoping someon on the forum can help me with a couple of questions concerning the Aladdin System. It looks like my VCM has failed. I get no video out. I believe this is the brains of the system as well as the video controller. I cannot find another one that is the exact same version and model as mine. Can I use a unit that is not the same model or version? They look the same as far as input and output. If nothing else can I pull the EPROM from my old one and use it in a new one?

I was just checking out the VMspc 330. Looks like that might be another option.

Thanks for the responses. Northwest shows the module on the website but it always says out of stock. I have found some on Ebay, but they are a slightly different version or model. When I referenced other brands, I was thinking the brands bought up by Monaco through the years - Holiday Rambler, Beaver, Safari to name a few. Sounds like I should just buy one and give it a try.

NW RV bought a whole bunch of stuff from Monaco when they closed Coburg.

I am not aware of any other Brand using the Aladin system other than Monaco. Regardless, you need to contac Monaco and ask if they still have the troubleshooting manual still available and if they have parts available. IF Aladin JR, it will state that. But, the Signature series used the full system. Doug

You need to provide a LOT more info. There is the Aladin and the Aladin jr. Your profile shows a Tiffin 2005 which did not use any such system. Monaco used that system and I do not believe your previous HR 1993 used that system. What year/model/brand and have you called Monaco about parts availability? If it IS the 1993 you are SOL. Doug
