Allison question

Sorry to bother you folks but I can't find the previous posts regarding an oil testing firm for the Allison Trans. As I understood the thread you send them $ they send a kit, you submit a sample, they analyze and send back the results.
thanks to all

  • I too have a Allison trans. and I wanted my trans fluid analysis-ed. I contacted Blackstone Lab @ (260) 744-2380. They sent me a sample kit, no charge, I collected my sample sent it back to them along w/$25.00 and they completed the analysis. Good company and timely results.
  • Here's the one I use:

JG Lubricant Services, they have several labs, (317) 803-3750.

The guy that runs it is the engineer who was the key man in developing Transynd.
  • Some places provide that as a free service (Rush Trucks Yuma, AZ). Ask, unless your doing it yourself.
  • SOAP.. Spectrographic Oil Analysis Program.. they tell you what the wear particles are.
know what is wearing will tell you life of the unit.
