Any cautions on buying an RV with a lien on it, please ?

Hi Rv'rs, This is my first posting so hope I'm in the right place etc. Am going to look at a C.Class that I like the look of on C.List(I know)with a lien. The owner is OK with us going to the ban...

X2. Pay the lien holder, and they will cut the owner a check for the balance. Also another option is to cut 2 checks based on a pay-off letter. Don't pay the owner, because they could take the money and the bank would still own your new motorhome!
