Any option for re-filling MH Propane Tank from Small Tank?

We are in a campground where mobile propane delivery is not allowed. In order to refill the motorhome propane tank, you have to leave the park, drive to a propane place to refill the tanks. I visited the few places that refill the tanks and it is very difficult to get in and out of the facility in a 40' motorhome. Is there any safe option to refill the motorhome tank myself using a couple of BBQ style propane tanks? I've been googling around I find that there is a way to run my appliances off of the small BBQ propane tanks, but I can't seem to figure out if there is a safe way to ADD propane to my onboard Motorhome tank. I don't need to fill it up, I just need to get some in there before I leave out of here next month. Basically I want to know if I can somehow tank a blue-rhino style tank and somehow transfer it into the motorhome larger tank and bring the level from nearly empty to perhaps 1/4-> 1/2 full.

I'm not a specialist on this, but a question, Since many people run a portable grill from a low pressure line run from the RV system, Why , couldn't you attach a tank with a grill regulator to one of those fittings to basically back feed the system after turning off your main tank?

1 A "extend a stay" connects before the house regulator.Been out for years, work well.If going through the trouble to adapt something, best to do it properly.Using a "grill" regulator, to feed the house/rv not a great idea, as they are not very accurate, and all devices in the RV have secondary regulators.
2 Trailer park/camping area may not allow a propane tank sitting out in the open,to provide for the RV.

Just so you understand how LP is transferred from tank to tank, it is pumped as a liquid and never dumped into a tank. If you don't think that you could navigate your 40 foot coach into a facility, maybe you could arrange to meet a LP truck outside the campground and get a fill-up.

Not very safe, esp.if you are not familiar with transporting and hauling LP.Not very efficient, not having a pump system. And, if they do not allow a certified person and truck in the park, they for sure will not allow you to try something like this. Also, before you spend the money and add an extend a stay, check with the park, they may not allow a bottle (not contained", such as sitting beside your unit.If you have seen others in the park doing this, would be a good time to talk to management, as having a truck come in to fill units is way safer.

No you cannot fill your MH tank from a smaller cylinder. The cylinder is only designed to release gas not liquid propane.

However you can have a kit installed to feed your MH with a portable cylinder.

What you read is the only safe way. You can purchase a extended stay adapter and if you have a BBQ tank or the bigger cylinders you just install it inline and connect your other tank and you have propane.
