Anyone familiar with Winnebago build times?

I recently ordered a Sunstar 35F. We would love to be able to use it before the season ends here in the Northeast. The build sheet looked promising, it says REQ SHIP 09/01/18 EST SHIP 09/19/18. Wondering if anyone has real world experience with Winnebago Class A builds.

Thanks,

Steve
  • Ordered our 2019 model right at end of January and it showed up at Dealers right at end of April... and they required a week to prep it.
  • We ordered our Adventurer late in January of 2013. It was delivered the week of April 12th. It could have been delivered 1 week earlier, but we decided to wait because a bad snow storm went through the week it was supposed to be delivered. We didn't want its first trip to be through the slush and salt.

Our dealer updated us on a regular basis as to the different stages of production and final delivery date.
  • It took us about four months from order to recieval.

I contacted Winnebago via email and during the build the person that responded would give email updates on where my coach was in the build process when I asked. She gave me the completion date which was different than the date given to me by my dealership. Then when the completion date came my contact told my that my coach had to go back to the paint shop to fix paint problems.

Once completed my contact told me that my coach had been handed off to the shipping company. During the delivery trip the driver hit something so my coach had to go and have the front cap fiberglass repaired and repainted.

    Safe travels.
  • We ordered ours in October, it was delivered to the dealer in December. I’m sure order to delivery times fluctuate in accordance with order volume and production line capacity.
