auxilary battery

My 12 volt not working in house. New battery and replaced isolator solenoid, no luck. Everything works great on shore power or generator. 2007 Ducthman express 29R.
  • Look for a small black plastic thing with a push button next to the house battery, push the button, see if 12 volt power comes on and interior lights etc. work with shore power disconnected. The separate aux/house battery disconnect switch in the control panel, operates a relay, it should snap when you operate the disconnect switch. If it is in on position, and the relay is working, you should have 12 volt power for interior lights, furnace blower, etc.
If everything works with shore power connected, the converter/charger must be working.
  • If the disconnect switch is not disconnected, check the coach battery voltage. If that's ok then maybe a circuit breaker or fuse has opened between the battery and the 12v power panel.
  • Might want to check your disconnect switch to make sure it hasn't been shut off by accident.
  • Blown reverse polarity fuses in the converter possibly.
