Awning Tool -

On our Class A, when we extend the manual awning, the locking handles on the awning supports are just a tad too high for me to reach. I have used a small step stool (door step) to get up on to reach and tighten them. A friend and I were discussing a better way, and he came up with this idea. 30 minutes and some scrap stuff laying around and here it is. Took me longer to find the hole drill bit than it did for all the rest. Now, no more step stool, just push up over the screw handle, twist, and its done!!

  • The round piece is remains of a piece of firewood that we were burning in the campfire. It is very hard oak, which gave us the idea. What is the easy way to find the center of a star?? I have forgotten all my geometry, but this worked.
