Axis rental
Just came home from a weekend in the Thor Axis and I had a great time. From CM I drove up to Lakewood on Friday to pick it up. I brought it back to Holly Shores campground in CM. My friend went with me and drove part of the way back, then his family came to the campground for the weekend.
I never drove a motorhome before and I was very nervous. I never like driving in my SUV past the concrete barriers that are on the highway when there is construction, so driving the MH through the construction was stressful. Once I got past the mess, driving was easy. The huge front window allows you to see everything.
There were 5 camping in the Axis and plenty of room for sleeping. The report from the overhead bunk sleeper was very comfortable.
Nobody got water on the floor taking a shower and the ability to expand the bathroom was awesome.
This might be a keeper although I don't plan to buy before Sept. 2015.
If anyone has any questions about my experience I will be happy to answer.
