backup camera in 2003 discovery
Has anyone cut faulty connecters from backup camera and monitor cable and tried to wire camera direct to monitor cable? Having trouble getting that done? Any info would be good. Thank you

- i rewired mine after having trouble getting picture,I used standard TV cable (rg6) I cut and spliced (soldered) cable at camera then at monitor end used standard cable end with rca video adapter.I did not bother with the audio cable cause all I ever heard was the diesel.This was all with the help of wx8m on this forum.
