Bathroom floor
I need to get my toilet up to repair a soft floor. I don't see how this toilet comes up like our regular toilet in the house. what am I missing?

- It depends on Brand,model. etc. For the most part they are mounted similar to a regular house toilet. Having a flange. two studs. washers.nuts.etc. The big difference I have found is acess to remove these. The few I have worked on The hold down hardware in not exposed and are acessed by removing a plug on the sides or rim of the toilet. some are offset not being at 3 and 9 o'clock as would be on the home throne. Also a socket set with along extension maybe needed. Again if you post model and manufacture someone may have better guidence. You may also go online for manufacture repair info Good luck
