It depends on Brand,model. etc. For the most part they are mounted similar to a regular house toilet. Having a flange. two studs. washers.nuts.etc. The big difference I have found is acess to remove these. The few I have worked on The hold down hardware in not exposed and are acessed by removing a plug on the sides or rim of the toilet. some are offset not being at 3 and 9 o'clock as would be on the home throne.
