BATTERIESFOR HOUSE
I need to replace my 6 volt house batteries that will not hold a charge. Do I go with wet cell or maintianance free and what is the best battery? Thanks for your help, JB

That is a tough question to answer as batteries and type are kind of a personal preference thing. There are advantages and disadvantages on either choice. I just replaced the battery bank in my RV and decided to go with Lifeline AGM batteries. AGM's are definately more expensive, but I paid extra for the maintenance free aspect of that particular type of battery. I would recommend that you do a lot of internet research and go with the best batteries that you can afford. The battery bank is the heart of your electrical system, and is not an area that you would want to compromise on quality. Good luck with your choice. :)
