- C20ExplorerBoth our motor homes when time came we went with Hankook. Very happy with them. Liked them better than the Michelins they replaced.
- howdy35Explorer III also have run the Toyo 154 on my bus but recently put on six Sumatoma which I bought at a right price. Have been happy with them over the last 5000 miles. Thay ride good. I liked the Toyo just fine.
- BENTARROW21ExplorerOur Pace Arrow had Michelin XRV that looked new after 15 years when we traded it in and bought the 2012 Bounder last fall. The Bounder has Michelin but a 6-inch cut in one means I will replace both fronts with Toyo. Two for the price of one Michelin.
- Rick_JayExplorer III had Michelin's on our rig from the factory and they easily lasted the first 11 years of our rig with no issues.
However, when it was time to replace them before our upcoming long trip, I opted for Toyo's. I really didn't notice any real difference in ride or handling, and as others have said, they're quite a bit cheaper.
~Rick - LwiddisExplorer IIIf the Michelins have served you well stay with them.

I went to Toyo, some say that is a rougher ride, but I have not noticed that.
I'm glad to be done with the Michelin sidewall failure issues, which mine previous tires had.
The other thing about Toyo is that it does not have the tread life of Michelin... But.. Read on.
You will not wear out the tread in RV use.
Over the road long haul trucking yes.
RV use now The tires (Both makes) will age out first
FMCA has a discount plan... I put half a dozen Toyo's on my 26,000 pound rig... Only problem was NOT with the tires (story later) ride the same. As near as my... er.. pants... could tell. Price about 1500 LESS than Mitchelin with FMCA discount.
The story
Shop did not have a jack that would lift my rig so we used mine.
on asphalt you MUST lay a plank under the jack or you will poke a hole in the pavement.. Took about 2 hours to get it back up on the jack - GottahaveitModeratorJust replaced our Michelins with Toyos only because they were 10yrs old not due to tread wear. Toyos were almost 1k cheaper..we don't wear them out they just get old so it was a no brainer. The ride actually seems smoother.
- FulltimersExplorerReplaced my Michelins with Toyos. I likes the Michelins better but not the $600 difference better.
- FloridaRosebudExplorerEven another vote for Toyos. Got the M-154's and do not notice a ride difference over the Michelins.
Al - sch911ExplorerMichelin XZA is what I have. A real 10 year tire.
