In Columbus, take 270 around on the east side to I-71 North to SR-37 west to Delaware. Pick up 23 North there.

If you need fuel there is a Flying J just east of I-71 on SR-37.

23 North is a mess just north of 270 and very busy.
  • Just remember to bring your "Patience" with you. It IS construction season up here. :>)
  • We live just a few miles south of Macinaw City and the Mackinac bridge. Yes they are spelled differently. The route we take is SR-127 north to I-75 north which takes you right to town and the bridge. So, if you were to get on I-75 at any point and stay on it northbound, you will get there.
  • Maps.yahoo.com is what we use for directions. Either follow them or get a good gps and follow it.
Spelling-wise it is Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City (we stay at Millcreek just east of town on Highway 23). Both pronounced the same as Mackinaw. The French and English could never get along...
  • Whats confusing about columbus? I just did a google map route, seems pretty straightforward other than you could go up 77? But that just seems to take you way out of the way.

I've come down "to" columbus but not through it. Looks like a bit of construction after you get past columbus. Again, not sure what that is going to be like. Last year we pulled through some construction in ohio...didn't have any problems but I wouldn't call it "fun" either. They don't give you a whole lot of shoulder in some spots.

Edit: didn't realize this was in class A forum. I have a TT.
