We bought a new 30' Winnie gas Class A so I bought an old Blue Ox Range Finder II towbar thinking I could get a baseplate to fit my 2013 Jeep Wrangler. I should of done some homework because I found that the Range Finder is old enough that Blue Ox never made a base plate for the new Wranglers that will fit this old tow bar. There is an adapter that is made to fit a Roadmaster baseplate to my old Range Finder towbar.
Has anybody here ever used one of these adapters?
If I bought the adapters ($108), new baseplate ($399) and wiring kit (guessing $100)I would be $600 in to it plus the $200 for the used towbar and still using a 20 year old towbar. I contemplated just chaulking this up as a waste of $200 and buying all new inclusive kit that would only be a couple hundo more than what I would have into it.
I'm open for any suggestions.
Thanks
Tom
