Bra or No Bra

The front of my 01 Monaco Dynasty is looking old, so I'd like to give it a face lift of sorts...possibly a new Bra. Suggestions on suppliers? Anyone with a bad experience with a Bra? Tips on purchasing & owning? Any maintenance issues I should be aware of? Thanks for your help, my friends!

My wife wears a bra, my coach does not! Bras tend to rub ever so slightly over time, especially as grim and grit builds up behind the bra. This can cause damage to the paint under the bra. I had 2 different vehicles that had bras. Both suggested removing the bra regularly to clean it and the car under the bra because of this. I don't know about you, but I do not wash my coach as often as my car (it sits for months at a time) so this problem could actually be more severe on a coach. Thanks, but no thanks!

Don't know if I should even ask, but why do you even use them? Is it for the next owner? Just curious. Marv

Ya'll should come out to AZ them "round-up" bras are most preciated out thisa way. Have some bad cracks from someone pulling to hard before latches released, bra less expensive than trying to repair or replace. And basically all damage is to cosmetic parts.

Mine has a clear laminate sheet coating on the front that is partially peeling off, so I tried to peel more and the paint started coming off with it. Not good, so I'm trying to hide it. Other than her face, I love my coach.

What about a soft rubbing compound and a few coats of ZEP. Made my 99 look like new... reflecting shine.

Oh and I prefer "mine" with no bra unless its a rodeo bra !!

That's the one that rounds em up and heads em out..:B

WE travel with the bra on, but remove it, pressure wash the back side, dry, and leave it off when we are storing the coach. other wise it molds behind the bra. our coach also has a vinyl mask.

Good to know, Bill. Other suggestions on improving the look of the rig without a full blown paint job?

Bra's generally cause more damage than the supposed damage they avoid. Unless you remove the unit on a regular basis and clean behind the unit, the grit behind the bra will wear away the paint it was designed to protect.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?
