Try a product called LA Awesome. It's a general purpose cleaner available at many discount stores. I just bought 2, 1/2 gallon bottles at Dollar General for $3.00 each. It also comes in other size bottles.

I'd never heard of it until we went to the Winnebago Grand National Rally last month. I went to a maintenance seminar put on by a Winnebago rep. He claimed to use it whenever he washed his motorhome to melt away the bugs.
I tried it a couple weeks ago and was amazed at the results. I diluted it 4:1 and sprayed it on with a 1 qt. spray bottle. I waited about 2 minutes then washed the front end with the normal car wash soap. It didn't take any effort at all to wipe several bazillion bugs off.
The only caution the rep mentioned is not to leave it on for an extended period if you have a protective vinyl paint mask on the front end. The same emulsifier that dissolves the bugs will loosen the adhesive that holds the mask to the fiberglass.
Hmmmmm....THAT, my friend, may be just the ticket for those wanting to get rid of the 3M film on the front of the coach.....thanks for the tip.....Dennis
