There are many chippers out there, all make grand claims and few deliver, Some deliver ... Well, you really do not want to know what some deliver (Very large repair bills.. Very large)

Ultra Power is a company you need to check out. Their claims are not so grand, but they deliver, at least for GM owners and I think they cover Ford too.
  • Had one for my 09 Cummins and did not see any improvement in mileage but at the same time did not see any less mileage but HEY What An Improvement IN POWER. Just my Experience. Your experience may vary. Larry
  • Check out 5 Star Tuning. They are THE people to go to for tuning the Ford V-10. I have one on mine and it works very well. You can get them in any octane rating you want. I got mine for the improved shift strategy over what the factory programmed in. I did gain almost .5 mpg, which is not why i got it, but it was a benefit. It will also add approx. 25HP AND around the same in TQ.

    Very very excellent reputation!
  • I think any tuner on a gas engine will require using premium fuel. Probably not cost effective.
  • My understanding is that they will help you gain a few horses, but doesn't do much for mileage, so if that was your goal, you might save your money. Seems like alot of folks who use them don't see much of a difference. To be clear, I've not used one myself, but that's what I read when I was considering one for my v10. Ymmv.
