Buying tires in Florida

Check your rim size before considering the 275's. If you have 6.75" rims as I suspect you do, that will not work.

255/80R22.5 which is a Michelin size will work in place of the 9R.
265/75R22.5 may work.

What 34' Foretravel do you have?

I just bought two new steer tires(Toyo) for my Beaver coach. $443 & tax at Register RV in Brooksville, FL!

Yes, I have the Alcoa 6.75" rims 6-lug..1989 Grand Villa DD diesel pusher.What would you say is a good working size...I was also told 245/75r .....

I would check out TCI in Jville and Tampa. Very good folks to work with. I know they have Michelin but not sure of other brands

I get mine from an independent truck tire dealer in Ocala.
They seem to give me good prices on "off" brand tires.
But probably not good enough to drive more than 50 miles to get there.

I'd go with Hercules for a savings, so check out their history.
If you'd like doing a few days south, with plenty of parks available and at less than 150 miles from Tampa, go here and tell them that I said .... to give you a great deal on any brand you might choose ...

The 255/80R22.5 is closer to the same revolutions per mile and is what most with your coach and wheel size have gone with. The 245's will have the engine turning more RPM for the same speed.

I've been using them since 2003 when we moved here from Naples, FL. They are family and locally owned.

The 255/80r are the MIchelin's...little out of my budget for once a year travel.....I was told that 265/75r are the equal tire to that...

I would find a tire on Amazon Prime then have them shipped to a local tire shop. Love's Tire Centers are ok with that.
