I replaced my carpet with vinyl click type flooring.
getting the old carpet out from under the slides was a pain but not unmanageable I blocked up the slides and just physically pulled the carpet out from under.
I think it was stapled or tacked in place. If you have friends or a couple of people to help you pull on it. I didn’t have help so Ibasically folded it over to get a good grip on it and then pulled it out using a come along.
