I have a 2014 Tacoma 4x4 auto trans. It can not be towed 4 down as it stands. I bought an older Suzuki Vitara, 4x4 auto transmission. The transfer case has a neutral, so I tow it 4 down in park with trans case in neutral. You have to start the engine every 200 or so miles. This car is only used as a toad, and serves the purpose quite well.
