exactly where did I say that there was a drive shaft disconnect involved?
the problem is that people buy stuff that can't/shouldn't be towed 4 down and then try to do it because somebody on the internet said it was fine to do so.
incidentally I had a drive shaft disconnect on my S10 PU and hated it.
but yes, manufacturer's will go out of their way to disallow claims if at all possible.
