Class A DP with tag axles and bunk beds

Tag axles are more stable, just as pickup trucks with dual rear tires are more stable when towing heavy loads.

Forest River Charleston offers a bunk house model as well.

I've seen some folks remodel the rear walk in closet to bunk beds. Pretty simple actually with the right closet layout. That might give you some ideas to stay in the used, under 200K market.

The problem is that Class A DP's with bunk beds are only a very small number of the of the Class A's built. So finding used ones is rare. Previously we had a super C with bunk beds. If we get bunk beds in out next motorhome it would probably be the Ventana or Dutch Star 4326.

Yeah, I don't think the tour bus option would work out well for us.

I still prefer the idea of a Toy Hauler. The kids can sleep in the garage part with the Happi Jack bed. They're one compartment over, which means their noise is not our noise. And they could have their own bathroom.

But my wife is like "oh but the big bus is more homelike". Uh huh. "Honey go find me half a mil in large bills. Thanks."

Be careful with tour busses. Dailey and Vincent did 190 shows this year. Thats about 150,000 miles X 10 years. There is a good reason one sells a vehicle with 1 million miles on it.

My wife likes the DP's with two bunk beds. We need one other couch that can convert into a bed. Triplet boys. And of course she wants home theater seating around a big tv screen.

You can get their easily with a used tour bus (not smiley necessary)! How many bunks? What else is a retirement?

Sorry though. I should have specified that I was looking at used units. Trying to keep the price point under $200k.
