We run Michelin 275/70/22.5 they have preformed well, I put them on in 2010 and 70,000 miles ago.

I changed the two steer tires this year. I flat spotted them in the frost heaves on the Al-Can.

Well unless you drive most all day every day those tires like the XRV will age out before they wear out .

XRV's with the FMCA plan will run you about 400 bucks a tire installed (I stress About because installation varies) And are the exact tire for your rig.

I have Toyo's on mine. less than 1/2 of 1% difference in size. the tread life is not as good but re-read the 1st paragraph. they will age out.. 2300 for six of them INSTALLED. (ROunded price actually less).
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

The 11R22.5s should be readily available at truck stops that's
why some people choose to run them plus they are usually much
cheaper .
I believe they are actually semi trailer tires

Not sure I would want the noise associated with that tread.

I went from 11R22.5s to 255/75s because I had a hard time finding the 11s. Next tire change I'll be going back or trying to find a metric that has the same diameter as the 11s. My speedo is off by about 6%. I son't know why the chassis manual called out the 255s as a replacement.

That's how I read it the first time too. (each) no!

Take about confusing. When it says "selling for $400.00 each" it sure reads like $1,600 for the 4!

For $100 each I'd consider it.

I guess I'll be shot, I missed the "Each" the first time

I changed out all of our 275/70-22.5s to 11R-22.5s. Ours have the same weight rating as the 275s that came off.

One of the best MH decisions we've ever made. Then again, ours always turned too many RPM in my opinion. The taller tires did just exactly what I was looking to do.

I just opened the ad, @ $400 each I would have passed too. (I read your post as all 4 for $400, not $400 each) Thats what we paid for fresh new Bridgestones, and the tire shop took our 275s in trade too.

Discovered that the 11 R 22.5 are 4 inches taller, and have a lower load weight rating.

I'll pass.

I would definitely run 3 year old tires. Since they are unmounted it is easy to check for any ozone cracking or other deterioration from storage. I would not expect to get 7 more years out of them but I would not hesitate to buy them if they still lokk like new and were not stored out in the weather.
