I am doing a copycat from the Class C forum. I thought it would be nice to see some "Killer B" camp sites.

Here is one from July 1. It was at a friends house in the country who was nice enough to invite people over for the holiday weekend.

I had to depart Saturday July 2 for a family get together but returned Sunday evening for a fireworks display. I lost my spot. 🙂
A great time was had by all as we saw fireworks in neighboring towns.

I have a 1989 Dodge XPLORER RV Class B - Purchased 10/15/10 IN CASH
Fiance' purchased a Class C 2002 Dynamax Carri-go on 5/1/15 IN CASH
We've got the best of both worlds

AZ. I 'm not sure why the photos would be deleted. Other than my violating the spirit of the thread a little (ok. Maybe a lot) ,the pics are hosted by Photobucket so they are not stored here. It takes much more work to post a lot of photos so I 'll probably stick to just the campsite photos if they are deleted. I look at other posters photos and wonder about the rest of the story and that is why I went overboard. Thanks for the heads up.

Mt Madonna County Park - 12 mi west of Gilroy, CA off the 101 (about 40 mi south of San Jose)

We were able to get one of the last sites with hook-ups with only about 1 week in advance planning. It was full the day we arrived.

Evening entertainment (volunteers, but really quite good)

Hunting Island State Park, South Carolina last January. Beautiful lighthouse for climbing. Makes a nice couple of days' stop en route south (off 95 about 45 min. to an hour.) Some sites are right at the beach, but book early.

Nice view from our campsite of sunset rainbow at Hunting Island.

Goblin Valley State Park, Utah. No hookups, but a modern campground amid the red rocks - each paved site has a grill and picnic table with roof shelter, and the showers and rest rooms are quite nice.

Pic failed, still trying.

Pic failed? How?

Here are some simple suggestions.

1. Do a quote on someone else's message to see how the photo was inserted. Example is the best teacher.

2. Upload your photo to a hosting service and default it to no greater than preferably 640 x 480 and definitely not over 800 pixels wide. Photobucket is free and allows you to do so and set a default size no matter what the size of the photo is on your computer. There are many others but I find Photobucket to be the simplest to copy the link from. I can also link images out of Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

3. Photos have to be in .jpg (jpeg), .png or .gif format, but not .tiff. Best is .jpg which most digital cameras default to.

4. Copy the image location url and paste here with the BBCode IMG and /IMG brackets. The image location has to end in the file type such as .jpg or it isn't a legitimate reference link. Just about every photo posted online unless embedded in Flash has a root image location link that ends in the file type like .jpg.

On edit - By jove it looks like you got it!
