Coachmen Freelander slide out issue

I am sure I am not the first person to run into slide out issues and there are lack of information on the web if you are a "do it yourself" person. I thought I will post my experience and share what I know.

We have a 2006 Coachmen Freelander and our slide out is not centered (tilted to the right side) so there is a gap when it is in the closed position (we can see major sun light inside the coach). Our slide our mechanism is a Liftco Glide out, please note this may only work if you have a Liftco also.

This is what it looks like before adjustment.

There are 2 large 1 1/8" bolt on each lower corners of the slide out. Adjustment are done by turning these bolts - Loosen it (counter clock when you are looking at it) will raise up the slide out and pull in the upper corner on that side. of course tighten it will have the opposite effect.

This is what it looks like after adjustment.

we still have to replace the seals all the way around the slide out as you can see in the pictures and the slide out unit is still not centered (tilt to left side) but since now the unit is sealed and tracks are not binding, I think we will leave it as is.

On my 09 Cambria the bedroom slide would stick and the extra effort to move it would trip the internal protector on the motor. After accessing the screw drive under the bed and cleaning and lubing the rails and screw, the issue went away. Some grease collects dirt which turns into a gummy adhesive. Regular maintenance proved to be the key. Also found some loose fasteners.

Our slide was tilted & after close observation I noticed that a 3inch square X 1/2 thick piece of wood had come out, on the front inside of the slide, you could see it from inside the motorhome, with the panel on the couch removed. It appears it was glued in. Hope this helps. Jeff

I know this is an old post, but this is the exact issue I am having with the slid of my coachmen freelander.. I am not sure what the slide was tilted means? Also when you push the slide button it clicks when it should stop, wondering if anyone knows what that could be? Also the guide wheel on the side of my slide seems to be stuck and I am not sure why..
