converter

Hi my converter in my 81 shasta died can I get t a used converter should I get new the model is 8900 series and 35 amp the new one is 200.04

  • Modern converter/chargers are much better at charging the batteries, quickly, and not overcharging them, or having high voltage in a park with high input voltage and low voltage in a park with low input voltage.

    Converters suffered from those problems because they did not regulate the voltage output, it is a fixed percentage of the input voltage. So a park with low voltage will have dim lights and no battery charging. High input voltage can damage the battery if plugged in a for a long time.
