I Pass takes an initial deposit ( $20 or $30) to be used against tolls. If you have multiple transponders ( wife has one, I have one) there is one account. There is no charge for anything except tolls. We can go for months without using it and our account balance stays the same.In August we were charged $5.00 for tolls, July was $34.65 with MH on trip to Oshkosh, WI. EZ Pass may work differently.
