Cover for Roadtrek SS Agile

Have any of you purchased a cover for your Roadtrek? If so, what brand did you get, and are you satisfied with it? How hard is it to put on? Can one person, with a ladder, do it? The covered RV storage facilities are all full here, and my HOA does not want campers or vans of any sort parked in driveways. I can get it into a storage facility that will let me park it on the lot, but it won't be covered. I don't want to store it at my farm again because of mice. Any advice?

We purchased the CalMark cover (http://www.calmarkcovers.com/road-trek-and-rialta-covers/) three and a half years ago and have been pleased with it thus far. It's custom made and fits like a glove. The material is relatively heavy, but freely breathes so moisture build-up is not an issue. It's not cheap, but it is extremely well-made using quality materials (Sunbrella is the fabric)

Yes, one person with a ladder and a six-foot pole (I use inexpensive 3/4" PVC pipe from Home Depot) can indeed install it - but I recommend two people because it goes sooooo much faster with a helper. Figure 30+ minutes solo installation versus less than 10 minutes with two. Three people would actually be optimal, but I've never had the luxury of a third hand. Getting the cover over the roof A/C is the biggest challenge, but that is where the six-foot plastic pole comes in handy.

Removing it is a breeze and can be accomplished by a single person in less than 5 minutes. I always spread out a cheap tarp on the ground when either installing or removing the cover to prevent dirt and grit from getting on the inside of the cover where it might scratch the paint.

You need to be sure to always install from front-to-rear because of the vehicle's antenna. The antenna is indeed quite flexible and will lie back as the cover is pulled over it. I thought about slitting the cover where the antenna is located and CalMark was even kind enough to send me a kit for creating a doubler at no cost, but ultimately I decided that as long as the antenna could handle the bending load, I was better off leaving the cover alone. So far, so good.

You should two people and two ladders to put a cover on, just to get around the vents, A/C and other things on the roof. Just one person pulling it on is sure to get the cover caught on something.
